Steve has 20 years marketing and technical sales experience and has been a member of several successful startups. Steve's most recent start up was Sonoma Chicken Coop.
During the last 6 months he was instrumental in the start up and success of a new 400 seat restaurant in Almaden. Prior to that Steve has been the key catalyst that has propelled Computer Global into a well-known value added reseller. While at Computer Global, Steve introduced the sales of SUN workstations, Servers and RAIDS. Steve helped CGI become an OEM for SUN and successfully convinced Cisco to adapt AIT technology as their backup media drive of choice. Steve was the first sales person outside of SUN to sell SUN memory, workstations and SUN servers to Cisco, Philips, VLSI, Netscape, Intel, National Semiconductor, Cypress Semiconductor, C-Cube, Quantum, Synopsis and Cadence. On the software side while at Castle Rock, Steve was the first to successfully introduce and sell load-balancing software (LSF) into the Bay Area to companies such as Ford Aerospace, Cisco, Quantum, Synopsis and VLSI. |

Obtained funding from Veritas, LSI Logic, Brocade, Emulex, Storage Technology and StoreNet to develop and deliver a SAN class utilizing a real, live working SAN. Starting in Seattle, Steve traveled to 13 major cities across the United States to deliver the ‘How to Build a SAN’ eight hour class. Part of Steve’s responsibilities included hiring and managing staff, writing and deploying national print and radio campaigns, on-site SAN evaluations for customers interested in purchasing SAN equipment and custom SAN architectural design. Steve was also part of a team that developed a SAN certification process that helps hardware and software companies interested in developing and deploying SAN certification for their products. This process included course development and certification. |

Steve was consistently top sales manager and the most successful sales manager in the history of the company. Steve took a company that was strictly a memory manufacturer and re-seller, to a manufacturer of RAID custom (OEM for SUN) SUN computers and a re-seller of SUN and tape libraries. While at Computer Global, Steve also restructured the sales model from selling to re-sellers to selling directly to end-users. Additionally, he instituted a leasing program, wrote advertising and successfully implemented a radio campaign that is being used to this day. |

| Castle Rock Inc 1993-1995 |
| |
Steve was responsible for the sale of LSF software (a load balancing software program). While at Castle Rock, Steve was the first to successfully negotiate the first major sale of this software in Northern California. Steve was also responsible for the sale of SUN clones to Quantum and Lawrence Livermore Labs. |
